I think plastic gets a really bad rep these days. In many applications, high quality plastics have more desirable material properties than metal.
Maybe Brembo should start making MTB brakes. :D
When I got a set of Code 5 brakes a couple years ago, the factory bleed was awful. One of the caliper bleed screws wasn't even done up tight and it dumped brake fluid all over my rotor and hub the first time I gave the lever a good squeeze. I bled them twice myself and then had it done by 3 different mechanics at 3 different shops within a one month time period, but all 5 times they went soft within a few days. They still produce fairly good power, but spongey levers bother me. About Us
